Established in 1879 Northgate Auction Rooms
hold sales of antiques and collectables on the 1st Thursday of each month
at Newark in Nottinghamshire (please see our current catalogue).

- Sales are held at the Northgate auction
rooms on the main East / West road through Newark, close to the
town centre. There is on site parking for 30 vehicles.
- Catalogues are available 7 days prior to
sale; there is an annual subscription of £24 per annum for
catalogues.
- Sales consist of usually 450 lots of selected
items from house clearances throughout Nottinghamshire and West
Lincolnshire.
- On Site Auctions. Auctions may be held on
the vendor's premises e.g. farm machinery.

Wednesday prior 9.30am - 7.00pm and morning of sale from 9.00am
Wednesday Sales
9.30 am - 2.00 pm on day of sale
Thursday Sales
Wednesday prior 9.30am - 5.00pm and morning of sale from 9.00am |
| General Information
- Entries for all sales are Mondays and Fridays
9.30am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 5.00pm.
- Entries for Antique sales at least 10 days
prior to sale date in time for cataloguing.
- Transport arranged for both single items
and house clearance at the cost of around £15 - £20
per hour. Transport prices quoted are only a guideline and must
not be taken as the price that will be charged.

Commission
Antique sales 15% and 10% subject to VAT. General
sales 15% subject to VAT. Minimum commission £1 per lot sold for £4
or under. A buyers commission of 10% will be charged in addition to the
purchase price on all sales.
Valuations
Free valuation and sales advice on goods to
be entered in our sales carried out at our Northgate Auction Rooms or
in your home by appointment.
Written valuations for sale, probate, insurance
and family division in your home by appointment, fees agreed in advance.
